Manchester United hope for three injured players to return as Jadon Sancho sent message

Manchester United's confidence will be flowing at present after back-to-back victories in the past week.

After a difficult run of results against Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion and Bayern Munich, United fought hard to earn a win at Burnley last weekend in the Premier League. This was followed up by an impressive 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup as Erik ten Hag's side began their defence of the trophy comfortably.

Next up is another clash with Palace but this time in the league with the Reds hoping to continue their push towards the Champions League spots. Ahead of this weekend's action, United could have some welcome news to celebrate.

United will assess Sergio Reguilon, Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay ahead of their Premier League rematch with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The trio missed the 3-0 League Cup victory over Palace on Tuesday evening through illness but the four-day gap between the domestic matches offers ample recovery time.

Reguilon did not report at United's Carrington training complex after the win at Burnley, where he requested to play despite feeling unwell.
