Manchester United hero Rio Ferdinand pokes fun at Jamie Carragher before Champions League final

Manchester United hero Rio Ferdinand has continued his 'feud' with Jamie Carragher by once again poking fun at his fellow pundit on social media platform Twitter.

After being called a clown by Liverpool icon Carragher recently, Ferdinand brushed off any animosity between the two on his ever-popular FIVE podcast before 'ignoring' him when they next met in person.

Ferdinand walked past Carragher initially before getting down to business for their respective TV networks for the Champions League semi-final showdown between Manchester City and Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium last month. However, the former United defender did retrace his steps and shook Carragher's hand before sharing a laugh and joke in a clip that was uploaded onto social media.

With the stage firmly set in Istanbul - as City aim to complete a historic treble - Ferdinand once again played joker when meeting Carragher pitch-side. Both men are in the Turkish city for the showpiece tonight.

Joined for a pre-match chat by recognisable figures such as Mario Balotelli, Cesc Fabregas and Micah Richards for their respective networks - with Ferdinand on BT Sport duty and Carragher working for CBS Sports Golazo tonight - it wasn't long before the former took aim on social media.

Uploading an image featuring several former players, Ferdinand, 44, added a short caption: It read: "Oh there's that guy who called me a clown..."
