Manchester United have three new leaders after Erik ten Hag's first transfer window
After another full-blooded challenge from Lisandro Martinez on Saturday, the away end roared its approval to Manchester United's latest centre-back.

Martinez was being parodied for his height after two Premier League games but he's performed admirably since then and the aggression in his game when the ball hits the deck is a sight to behold.

The addition of Antony on Tuesday made it five new faces through the door this summer and three are from South America. Tyrell Malacia has already shown the fight and charisma in his own game and nobody needs a lesson in Christian Eriksen's commitment after the 12 months he has been through.
But the trait of Ten Hag wanting players with a strong personality and a winning mentality is most clearly identifiable in the two Brazilians and the Argentine he has spent the chunk of his budget on. Around £212million of United's spend this summer has gone on those three South Americans – Martinez, Antony and Casemiro – and they will certainly bring an edge that is often unmistakable in players from that part of the world.
