Manchester United 'have never been more convinced' about Declan Rice
Some Manchester United figures are sold on Declan Rice and the club will consider using Paul Pogba‘s wages to help finance a deal for him this summer, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
The West Ham midfielder continues to be linked with a move away from the London Stadium, and United are one Premier League outfit who are thought to be interested in his signature.
United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all keen on snatching Rice away from West Ham, reports The Telegraph.
According to them, the Hammers are braced for summer bids for their vice-captain, who has made it clear that he wants to win trophies.
“I’ve always said it, I don’t want to have a career where I’ve won nothing,” Rice recently said in an interview with Gary Neville for The Overlap podcast (via Evening Standard).
“I’ve grown up as a kid seeing all these top players win the big trophies, Premier League and Champions League. As a football fan and player I want to win the best stuff.”
As for Pogba, he could be heading out of Old Trafford. The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that he is yet to make a decision on his future, so an exit is more than possible.

Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that United could consider investing Pogba’s wages into any potential deal for Rice should the France international end up leaving the club at the end of the season.
Speaking to GMS, the football journalist said: “I’ve looked into the Declan Rice situation a bit further and Man United are tempted to invest Paul Pogba’s wages into a deal for him.
