Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma has dropped a hint over his future which offers Manchester United an advantage to win the race for his signature. Danjuma has been mooted as a potential option for United as they attempt to sign a versatile attacker during the upcoming transfer window.

Having spent two years with Bournemouth previously, the Netherlands international is well-versed when to comes to understanding the unique challenge of the Premier League. He has become a more accomplished player in Spain, too, as highlighted by 16 goals in 34 games this season. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old has suggested that he would be open to having another crack in England at some point in his career.

During an in-depth interview with ESPN last month, Danjuma said: "England represents great memories for me. It feels like a homecoming. I had two amazing years there. It made me more mature, I developed a lot and it took me to where I am right now.
