Manchester United have 'big chance' of signing Harry Kane

Journalist Dean Jones says there is a “big chance” of Harry Kane ending up at Manchester United if Mauricio Pochettino becomes their next manager.

The Paris Saint-Germain boss has been tipped to replace Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season, and Jones expects him to target the Tottenham striker should he be installed in the Old Trafford dugout.

Both Pochettino and Kane, who enjoyed a great relationship during their time at Tottenham together, have been linked with United.

According to The Telegraph, United players are pushing for Pochettino to succeed Rangnick and want him to be their next manager.

The same outlet also claims that if the Argentine gets the job, he will urge the club to bring Kane to Old Trafford.

The England captain wanted a move away from Spurs last summer and was the subject of heavy interest from United’s rivals Manchester City, so his future in north London is far from certain.

Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Kane could indeed end up at Old Trafford if Pochettino is appointed United boss.

Speaking to GMS, the transfer insider said: “The two had an unbelievable relationship. When Pochettino got the PSG job, Harry Kane was seen as a potential PSG player. There would be a big chance that Harry Kane ends up at Man United [if Pochettino is appointed].”
