Manchester United fans demand huge change ahead of first season under Erik ten Hag

The new Premier League season is on the horizon, and with it comes a fresh sense of optimism and hope that the good times might finally be returning to Old Trafford.

United have a new man in charge in the shape of Erik ten Hag and he has been backed in the transfer window with three new signings in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez, with more additions targeted before deadline day.

The Sky Bet Fan Hope Survey shows that 89 per cent of United supporters are happy with the appointment of Ten Hag as their manager and 85 per cent believe that he was the best available option this summer to take the club forward in the years ahead.

Ten Hag has a mammoth task on his hands to build on United's fine pre-season form heading into the new campaign, and supporters can't help but feel the Dutchman might ultimately be let down by the ownership of the club.

United protested the Glazer family's ownership on several occasions last season, and with more protests planned in the months ahead, the issue hasn't gone away despite the distraction of summer changes at the club.
