Mancunian Jamie, 25, was in attendance for his 12th United home match of the season and snapped when Kelechi Iheanacho headed in for Leicester on Saturday afternoon. He stood up and unloaded at those sat on the bench.

United technical director Darren Fletcher took exception and the pair exchanged verbals.

Erik ten Hag advised how to succeed

Erik ten Hag will have to create a united spirit and siege mentality if he is to succeed at Old Trafford next season. That is according to former United midfielder Luke Chadwick.

The 41-year-old, who started his career at United before leaving the club in 2004, has made the admission following reports from the Manchester Evening News that some players in the United dressing room feel appointing Ten Hag would be an 'underwhelming' decision.

The Dutchman has overseen an excellent job at Ajax and has earned the opportunity to take charge of one of Europe's big-name giants.
