Manchester United 'considering' move for Jamie Vardy and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are being linked with a surprise move for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy in the latest round of transfer rumours.

The Reds are in the market for new forwards with just over a couple of weeks remaining in the transfer window. Erik ten Hag is currently stretched in terms of his striking options, with Anthony Martial and Cristiano Ronaldo his only out-and-out number nines.

Elsewhere, reports in the Netherlands suggest Ten Hag has contacted Cody Gakpo about a possible move to Old Trafford. The PSV Eindhoven forward has been linked with a move to United as their search for new forwards continues.

Eindhovens Dagblad (via Sport Witness) claim the United boss has taken matters into his own hands and got in touch with the 23-year-old. With PSV facing Rangers in the Champions
