Manchester United confirm season tickets sold out for 2022/23 Premier League under Erik ten Hag

Manchester United have confirmed that all season tickets for the 2022/23 season have now sold out.

United were expected to challenge for the Premier League title this season but instead it proved to be one of the worst campaigns in the club's history. United equalled the club's longest trophy drought for 40 years while recording their lowest ever Premier League points total.

Although it has been a joyless season at Old Trafford, that hasn't stopped supporters from snapping up season tickets for the 2022/23 campaign. Erik ten Hag was unveiled to the media on Monday afternoon and he's facing the biggest challenge of his career to transform the club's fortunes. Ten Hag joined United on a three-year contract with the option of an additional year.

Ten Hag will be introduced to fans at Old Trafford next term and he's set to be welcomed by a full capacity crowd. Despite protests against the Glazers this season, season tickets have sold out and United have thanked fans for their support.

“I want to thank all our loyal fans who have renewed as we look ahead to an exciting new era at the club under Erik ten Hag," United's chief operating officer Collette Roche said.

“For the 11th successive season, we have frozen our season ticket prices and this year we experienced the lowest ever number of non-renewals, which demonstrates the incredible loyalty of our fantastic match-going supporters."

The 2022/23 season will begin on 6 August 2022 and the Premier League fixtures are set to be released on 16 June.
