Manchester United confirm dates and times for three April fixtures

Manchester United's Premier League trip to Nottingham Forest in April has been rescheduled to accommodate the upcoming Europa League quarter-finals.

Erik ten Hag has already won one tournament this season as the Carabao Cup triumph brought the club's long wait for a trophy to an end but the manager is determined to add to the cabinet. United are favourites to win the Europa League going into the final eight after they defeated Real Betis 5-1 on aggregate in the last 16.

The first leg will be played at Old Trafford on Thursday, April 13, with kick-off at 8pm.

United were supposed to be in action against Nottingham Forest in the league two days later on Saturday, April 15, but now that match has been pushed back to Sunday, April 16, instead. It will still be televised on Sky Sports in the UK with kick-off coming at 4:30pm.

The second leg against Sevilla will be played a week later on April 20 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium and will also begin at 8pm. There has been no need to rearrange another Premier League fixture as the clash with Chelsea at Old Trafford that weekend was already set for Sunday, April 22.

When asked about facing Sevilla on Friday, Ten Hag admitted it was a difficult draw. "Back to Seville and as you say a very good record, we have to be aware of it," Ten Hag said after the draw. "It is going to be tough, they are very experienced in the Europa League, won it so many times.
