Manchester United Agree To Sell Forgotten Man

Manchester United are set to finally sell one forgotten man, with the Premier League club's clearout of their unwanted players continuing under Ralf Rangnick.

One other player now looks set to depart the north west permanently, with Andreas Pereira's temporary move to Flamengo set to become a permanent move away.

The report claims that United will make £12 million from the player's sale, with most of it upfront and the rest through performance related bonuses.

One thing does remain slightly unclear, with claims that the Brazilian team have agreed a deal worth 75% of the player's economic rights.

If Flamengo have agreed to buy 75% of the rights, it remains to be seen when the final 25% of the ownership will be going, but United won't be able to own the other quarter.

Pereira has been on loan at Granada, Valencia, Lazio during his time at United, before moving to Flamengo last year and helping the club get to the Copa Libertadores.

The 26-year-old moved to Old Trafford in 2011 but has only made 75 appearances in all competitions, with 40 of those coming in the 2019/20 season.

Whilst one loanee looks certain to finally leave the club, United have been urged to recall another midfielder loanee back to the team.
