It didn’t take long for the Ivorian to endear himself to City fans with his instrumental goals in the semi-final and final of the 2011 FA Cup, winning them their first major honour of the new era.

Just a year later, he was strutting stuff again as the Cityzens clinched their first ever Premier League title, and he would become one of the pillars of a new era, including a monstrous 2013/14 campaign that saw him bag 24 goals and 12 assists in all competitions.
