mManchester City are on the verge of securing a £42 million deal for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Philips.
Premier League champions City have thrashed out an agreement with Leeds today on a deal which could rise to £45 million, which will see midfielder Darko Gyabi move to Elland Road.
Pep Guardiola has been determined to sign Phillips this summer and is making the England international his second addition ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, after the £51m capture of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Phillips leaves Leeds after a 12-year association, making his senior debut for his hometown club in 2015.
Gyabi, the former Millwall trainee, is moving to Leeds in a separate £5 million transfer.
