Manchester Airport reports record-breaking numbers for two years in a row

Manchester Airport’s passenger numbers have broken records every month for the past two years after nearly 2.9 million passengers used the northern travel hub in October.

This figure was up more than 2 per cent on October 2024 and means the airport has consistently smashed records for 24 consecutive months.

Last month passenger numbers were boosted by a bumper half-term getaway with more than 114,000 passengers flying into or out of the UK’s global gateway in the North on Friday, October 24 – making it Manchester Airport’s busiest day since the summer holidays.
