Man Utd suffer major summer blow with midfield star considering Premier League rival move
Paul Pogba is open to joining a rival Premier League club should he leave Manchester United this summer.
The France international has entered the final six months of his contract with United and has not ruled out signing fresh terms at Old Trafford.
However, United face a nervous wait with The Daily Telegraph reporting the midfielder is prepared to wait until the end of the season before deciding his next move.
Pogba has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid while a return to Juventus is another possible destination.
Recent reports have claimed Paris Saint-Germain would be the front runners for his signature but Pogba is now said to be open to joining a rival Premier League side if the offer is right.
Pogba was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea prior to his return to United.
In 2018, he was offered to Manchester City as Mino Raiola tried to engineer a move away from Old Trafford for his client during Jose Mourinho’s spell in charge.
Pogba has recently returned to the United starting XI after a lengthy spell out with a thigh injury.
The Frenchman scored on his first Premier League start since October against Burnley earlier this month, coming off the bench to provide an assist against Brighton on Tuesday.
