Man Utd striker Anthony Martial's first words after completing Sevilla loan switch

Anthony Martial says he is hoping to enjoy his football again after completing his move to Sevilla from Manchester United.

The Frenchman has entered a title race in La Liga after joining Sevilla on loan until the end of the season, with his new club just four points behind table-toppers Real Madrid as they bid for their first league crown since 1957.

United had been in constant communication with the Spaniards in regard to their interest in the striker, who has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford this term.

A deal was eventually struck once Sevilla agreed to cover his weekly wages - Martial even agreed to reduce his earnings such was his desperation to force through a move away from Manchester after seven years at Old Trafford - with United also foregoing a loan fee.

While he has got his wish for now, as things stand Martial will still be expected to return to the north of England for pre-season training with United come the summer.

With that being said, the France international has since admitted he has not made any decisions on his long-term club future as of yet.

"I have joined for five months but you never know what the future holds," Martial explained.

"It's not just about money. It's to play and to enjoy it. That's it. That's why I chose to come here, to play and to enjoy football again.

"I want to play more and show what I can do. I believe Sevilla is the perfect place to do that. I want to score goals, provide assists and be crucial for this team in the next five months.

"There are many good players at Sevilla and I want to bring my experience to the side."
