Man Utd praise 'exceptional' Nottingham Forest as Reds receive important ticket update for FA Youth Cup final

Manchester United have had to make more tickets available for Nottingham Forest supporters after the Reds smashed through their initial ticket allocation for the FA Youth Cup final.

The Reds were given an initial 680 tickets by United for the Old Trafford showdown, but Forest fans have shown an "exceptional" level of support with more tickets now put on sale.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Forest said their supporters would be housed in block E230 at Old Trafford. However, by Wednesday, tickets were no longer available in E230 or E231 so blocks E232 and E233 have now been opened up for Reds fans too.

The young Reds will play United for the prestigious trophy on Wednesday, May 11 (7.30pm kick-off). Tickets are priced at just £1 and available directly from Man United. Supporters will need to create an account on the host club's ticket site and use the code to buy.

Coach travel details for the match will be confirmed by Forest "in due course". The Reds added: "Nottingham Forest would like to thank Manchester United for its assistance in agreeing a mutually convenient date for the match."

Go to tickets.manutd.com and select “Home Tickets” from the drop down menu.

Scroll down to the game and select “Buy Tickets”

Click “I have a promo code”, at the top of the page

Enter code “” into the box and click “Find Seats”

The options will then be limited to 1 block (E230) in the stadium

Follow on-screen prompts to select seats and finalise the transaction
