Man Utd players warned about Ten Hag’s ‘special quality’ by ex-Red Devils defender
Former Man Utd defender Daley Blind has warned the club’s current crop of players about Erik ten Hag’s “special quality”.
Ten Hag has replaced Ralf Rangnick at United ahead of the 2022/23 season.
This comes after the Dutchman helped Ajax win the Eredivise title three times since the end of 2017.

The 32-year-old has spoken about his experiences working with Ten Hag. He has warned United’s players that the manager is a “control freak”:
“He’s really social,” Daley told Man Utd’s official website.
“I think, also in Ajax, he knows everyone at the club is important. Everyone needs to be involved to get that winning feeling, that winning mentality.
“Everyone is needed pointing in the same direction. He is aware of that and wants to keep everything close. He’s also a control freak and wants to be on top of everything. I think that’s a special quality you need to have when being that good.”
When asked what kind of coach Ten Hag is, Blind added: “I think he is a brilliant one. A manager who loves to play attacking football, what Manchester stands for.
