Manchester United are understood to be in talks with incoming manager Erik ten Hag's former club Ajax over the signing of defender Jurrien Timber.
The Old Trafford club are set to begin a massive overhaul of the playing squad following Ten Hag's arrival and the new boss has told his bosses to bring the Dutch centre-back with him from the Eredivisie champions. It comes as Paul Pogba hinted he could be set to join up with former teammate Paulo Dybala this summer, with the Argentine also out of contract and set to move clubs. And United could be set to explore the signing of Stuttgart forward Sasa Kalajdzic – who Benfica have got on their radar as a potential replacement for Darwin Nunez.
