Erik ten Hag has hinted that an Ajax reunion with two of his former players could be off.
The Dutchman has now reported for duty at Old Trafford and is set to succeed Ralf Rangnick in the hotseat following the final Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Ten Hag is set to begin a huge overhaul of his playing squad with plenty of transfer activity expected at the club this summer.
But the new United boss has hinted that Ajax duo Antony and Jurrien Timber may not be following him from Holland to the Premier League club. It comes as Frenkie de Jong has pledged his future to Barcelona after being linked with a move to United.
And Erik ten Hag has sent a warning to United's former players over criticism they may send towards the club through the media.
