Manchester United can take another giant stride towards Champions League football today as they face Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.

Monday's victory over Everton saw United pick up another crucial three points in their bid to return to Europe's top table. Benjamin Sesko was the match-winner at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and plenty of fans will be desperate to see him start this afternoon.

Liverpool's win on Saturday brought them level on points with United, but Michael Carrick's men can now start looking up the table following Aston Villa's defeat on Friday. A win today would see United leapfrog Villa into third, a position they haven't been in since May 2023.

In terms of the team news, Mason Mount could return today while Lisandro Martinez is a doubt. United will again be without Patrick Dorgu and Matthijs de Ligt.

United can do the double over Palace today after they beat Oliver Glasner's side 2-1 at Selhurst Park back in November.
