Man sustains potentially life-changing injuries in Swansea crash

A motorcyclist has sustained potentially life-changing injuries following a crash in Swansea. The incident was reported at around 7.30am on Saturday on Baran Road, Clydach, in Swansea.

The country lane road was closed for a number of hours between A474 Commercial Road and the junction for Rhyd Y Gwin. It has since reopened. South Wales Police confirmed that the crash involved a man riding a motorcycle. He has suffered what are potentially life-changing injuries.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "This was a single vehicle collision involving a man riding a motorcycle which was reported at around 7.40am today. He has suffered what may be life changing injuries and has been taken by ambulance to hospital."
