Man pushes his partner's head into loo as couple come to blows in holiday chalet after downing three litres of white wine

An angry boyfriend dunked his partner's head down the loo in revenge after she threw a dirty toilet brush at him during a drunken argument. Geoffrey Alcourt, 60, forced Wendy Pollard's head into the lavatory bowl and flushed after earlier thinking to himself: ''I’ll see how she likes it".

Police were called to the couple's chalet on a holiday park in the Derbyshire Peak District after Alcourt himself dialled 999 claiming Miss Pollard was abusing him. It emerged the warring pair who have been together for 27 years came to blows after drinking three litres of white wine and she began throwing crockery and other items at him.

At Manchester magistrates court Alcourt, of Lime Tree Holiday Park, Dukes Drive, Buxton, admitted common assault and was fined £205. Miss Pollard, who is in her 50s, was not in court and declined to assist with the prosecution.
