Man left looking completely unrecognisable after first haircut in 10 months

A man who hadn't had a haircut for 10 months left social media users astounded following a dramatic transformation. Salon owner Thai Nguyen shared the process on TikTok, featuring his client who had grown several inches of hair since his previous trim - a short buzz cut.

The man confessed to Thai: "I used to go to [other barbers] Supercuts and Sports Clips - but I haven't had an actual barber." He further expressed his dissatisfaction with previous salons' inability to evenly trim the "back of his head and hairline even", often cutting his hair "too short".

He proceeded by showing Thai a photograph as a reference, stating: "So I kind of want to get like a middle part, then shorten the sides." The video skipped the actual cutting process and jumped straight to the final result. The client, who had travelled two hours to reach the salon, looked entirely different.

Before revealing the outcome, Thai asked: "How are you feeling right now? A little nervous?" "Yeah a little nervous, but confident," the man responded. Upon seeing his new look in the mirror, he exclaimed: "Oh my god, it's clean."

Thai described the style in a caption: "My boy got the middle part with a low taper fade. It can also be done with a two block cut. This style on him was more flowy than messy. Still was a clean transformation."

TikTok users were taken aback by the change, with one commenting: "Is that the same person? ! I don't believe it!" Another added: "Woah he looks so much older with the new cut."
