Man dies after BMW crash - a man has been charged with death by dangerous driving
A man has died after a crash involving a BMW in Rochdale.
Police were called to the scene of the incident on Rochdale Road East in Heywood on Sunday, March 20. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed this morning that Alan McDonagh had been charged in relation to the incident.
According to court documents, the name of the victim is Simbarashe Prosper Mhepo. McDonagh, of no fixed abode, is charged with causing his death by dangerous driving.

The 18-year-old has also been charged with causing death by driving whilst disqualified, causing death by driving a vehicle with driver unlicensed and causing by death by driving a vehicle with driver uninsured.
Court documents state the car involved in the crash was a BMW 318d. McDonagh is due to appear in court at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (March 31).
In a statement issued this morning, a GMP spokesperson said: "Alan Michael McDonagh (19/04/2003), of no fixed address, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, disqualified driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence. He's due to appear in Magistrates' Court this morning (31 March 2022)."
