Man City vs Liverpool FC LIVE early team news, predicted line up and score predictions of Community Shield

Manchester City are taking on Liverpool today in the traditional curtain-raiser for the new season.

They will play for the Community Shield in a match that has been moved to Leicester's King Power Stadium because of Wembley staging the final of the Women's Euros tomorrow.

Pep Guardiola will be hoping to get an early boost over City's big rivals for silverware this season, after the Merseysiders pushed them all the way to the final day before City eventually triumphed to lift the Premier League title. Liverpool beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final to set up today's fixture.

Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko all said goodbye to City in the summer, but there were exciting new signings in Erling Haaland, Kalvin Phillips, Julian Alvarez and Stefan Ortega, all of which could feature for the Blues today.
