Man City vs Chelsea prediction and odds ahead of Premier League clash

Premier League champions Manchester City go into the match looking to send a message as they look to achieve the glorious treble this season under Pep Guardiola. They welcome Chelsea who have been incredibly underwhelming this season under new co-owner Todd Boehly who has splashed the cash but has seen little return in that investment.

City are the unsurprising favourites going into this match at 3/10 with Betfred while the Blues are 17/2 to produce a shock and a draw is 9/2. Man City have won their last three league meeting against Chelsea all with a 1-0 scoreline - which is 7/1 today - but have never won four in a row against their opponents.

The Blues will be looking forward for this season to be over and start their next chapter under potential new manager Mauricio Pochettino. They could finish in the bottom half of the Premier League table which means no European football at Stamford Bridge next season which could spell trouble for Boehly who will have to wait and see how much of a financial hit they will take from that but might take some consolation the last time they finished this badly in the league they went on to win it the following season.
