Man City vs Borussia Dortmund LIVE Champions League team news and build-up

Manchester City are back in action in the Champions League tonight as they host Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium.

It's been more than a week since the Blues last played a competitive fixture. As a mark of respect following the death of the Queen, the Premier League opted to postpone Saturday's home match with Tottenham Hotspur.

Last time out, City started their European adventure in convincing fashion as the Blues beat Sevilla 4-0 in the opening group game in Group G. Erling Haaland bagged a brace to bring his goalscoring tally up to 12, while Phil Foden and Ruben Dias added gloss to the scoreline in Spain.

Tonight will be the first time Haaland has faced Dortmund since leaving them in the summer to join the Blues. The Norwegian's start to life in the Premier League has been lauded and it is sure to be a special night for the 22-year-old should he start.

On paper, this should be the trickiest fixture for Pep Guardiola's team with BVB having enjoyed a reasonable start to the Bundesliga season, currently lying fifth. However, Edin Terzic's team are coming into tonight's encounter on the back of a 3-0 defeat away at RB Leipzig.
