Man City star Erling Haaland sends message to Jack Grealish after emotional treble post

Erling Haaland has responded to Jack Grealish's emotional Instagram post after winning the treble with Manchester City.

The Englishman was in the headlines for his wild celebrations after Pep Guardiola's side won the UEFA Champions League to complete a historic season. Success in Europe gave Grealish a perfect trophy cabinet in only his second season at the club.

Grealish posted an emotional message in response to the team's recent achievements ahead of some well-earned time off. Haaland was quick to respond with his congratulations for his City team-mate.

In response to Grealish’s post, Haaland said: “Enjoy brother! Take it easy…. Not.” John Stones, Kyle Walker, Kalvin Phillips and former team-mates from Aston Villa all joined in with messages too.

Grealish's initial post said: "Wow… what a season! This is genuinely from my heart...

"The whole season was unbelievable but the last weekend especially was the best weekend of my life! To win the Champions League and especially to win the treble was something I could barely dream of when I signed for City.

"I just wanna thank all the fans for the unbelievable support week in week out and also all the staff at City, especially the ones behind the scenes that people don't see who contribute so so much! Honestly what a club!! Time to enjoy my summer with my family and friends... See you all in 4 weeks for pre-season."
