Man City's next six fixtures compared with Liverpool FC in Premier League title race

Manchester City failed to reopen their six-point lead over Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table after being held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

After being beaten 2-0 by Palace at the Etihad Stadium back in October, City failed to find a way past Patrick Vieira's side for a second time this term, this time at Selhurst Park. They created no shortage of opportunities but could not find a way past Vicente Guaita in the Palace goal.

Although the stalemate extended City's unbeaten run in the league to three matches, they have now won just two of their last four outings, paving the way for Liverpool to potentially reduce the gap to just a point. The Merseysiders face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening in what will signal their game in hand over Pep Guardiola's side.

A win would move them just a point behind City with nine games remaining. With that in mind, MEN Sport has taken a close look at City's next six league fixtures in comparison with Liverpool's, including a contest that will see them go up against each other next month.
