Manchester City's owners have reportedly made a R$1billion (Brazilian real) - around £150million - bid to buy Brazilian outfit Atletico Mineiro.
City Football Group (CFG) already own 10 football clubs across the world and it's believed they want add Mineiro to their growing portfolio.
The Roosters are one of the biggest clubs in Brazil, based in Belo Horizonte. They're the reigning league and cup champions, also winning the Copa Libertadores in 2013 when, inspired by Ronaldinho, they landed South America's biggest prize.
Manager Antonio Mohamed's squad includes Brazilian icon Hulk, former Premier League star Eduardo Vargas and Atletico Madrid legend Diego Godin.
Diego Costa was also part of Mineiro's roster last season.
Rumours suggest CFG chief Ferran Soriano has held meetings with Mineiro's representatives but is yet to agree a fee with their current owners.
The Brazilians are holding out for R$2bn - around £300m - and are in "no hurry" to complete a deal with CFG, according to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte.
