Man City might have another advantage in Premier League title race vs Arsenal

Try as Arsenal might to put breathing space between themselves and Manchester City at the Premier League summit, Pep Guardiola's troops reel them back in again.

For the second weekend running, City responded with a victory of their own to keep the pressure on the league leaders. Arsenal beat Bournemouth 3-0 in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off before the Blues, a few hours later, responded with a 5-1 thumping of Wolves at the Etihad Stadium.

Erling Haaland casually helped himself to four goals, taking his tally of league goals for the season to 25, to ensure the Gunners' lead at the top was reduced to just one point. Both sides are refusing to ease off the gas as the finish line approaches.

City travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday lunchtime before returning to the capital for their game in hand against Tottenham Hotspur three days later. They will then bring their league campaign to a close at home to West Ham on May 19.

On current form, you would be brave to bet against City winning all of their last three games. Guardiola's side have won each of their last six league outings, plundering 24 goals in the process.
