Man City join transfer battle for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala and more transfer rumours

Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Paulo Dybala at the end of the season.

According to Fichajes, City along with Barcelona, Tottenham, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all eyeing the Juventus forward.

All of the clubs believed to be involved in the race for Dybala's signature are said to be attracted by the chance to add a quality operator to their frontline without having to pay a transfer fee.

The 28-year-old's contract at Juve is set to expire at the end of the current campaign and after the Serie A giants signed Dusan Vlahovic in January, there are question marks over Dybala's future.

So far this season, Dybala has scored 12 goals in 27 appearances for Juventus.

Elsewhere, City's pursuit of Erling Haaland has been dealt a blow.

AS reports that Hans-Joachim Watzke and Florentino Perez, the respective presidents of Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, have a very strong relationship and this could see them work together to bring Haaland to La Liga.

The Spanish giants are fully focused on signing Kylian Mbappe this summer and would want to hold off on any deal for the Norwegian striker until 2023.

AS believes that this could see City being nudged out of any potential deal between themselves and Dortmund.
