Man City already know their next priority this summer after sealing Kalvin Phillips transfer

Although the summer transfer window is just under four weeks old, it has already been a period of change and transformation for Manchester City.

Fresh from winning their fourth Premier League title of the Pep Guardiola era, they have wasted little time in making the necessary additions for what they think will be enough to help them win them their fifth this forthcoming season. The club has landed one of the world's most exciting talents in Erling Haaland, sourced a replacement for Fernandinho by bringing in Kalvin Phillips and bolstered their goalkeeping department with the signing of Stefan Ortega.

While additions have not been in short supply, outgoings haven't either. Gabriel Jesus is the headline departure so far, but Raheem Sterling is expected to soon snatch that title once his move to Chelsea is completed. City have been brave in allowing both players to leave, with the duo scoring 30 goals between them in all competitions last term. They also scored 226 goals between them in their Blues careers.

On the flip side, however, City are set to acquire the best part of £90million for two players that were not guaranteed starting berths this coming season. Haaland's arrival has fired him straight to the top of the pecking order for the No.9 spot, while Phil Foden and Jack Grealish will battle it out for the nod on the left wing.

Foden and Grealish will have to step up in a productivity sense, both scoring fewer than Sterling last season.
