Man charged following police probe into spate of attacks in town
A man has been charged following an investigation into a spate of attacks in Leigh.
Officers launched a probe after the assaults, police said. Daleroy Zinyemba, of Union Street, Leigh, has now been charged with four counts of assault and one count of criminal damage.
The 28-year-old has been remanded into custody. He will appear at Bolton Crown Court on June 26.

In a statement, GMP said: "A man has been charged following an investigation into a series of assaults in Leigh.
"Daleroy Zinyemba (17/04/1995), of Union Street, Leigh, has been charged with four counts of assault and one count of criminal damage. He has been remanded into custody and will next be appearing at Bolton Crown Court on Monday 26 June 2023."
