Man arrested after vehicles damaged in spate of Manchester city centre car park attacks
A man has been arrested following numerous reports of vehicles being damaged at car parks in Manchester city centre.
Greater Manchester Police have been investigating a number of offences relating to theft from cars and damage being caused to them over recent weeks.
Officers have now arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of theft from and damage of a motor vehicle and he remains in custody for questioning.

Detective Sergeant Mark Graham of GMP's City of Manchester Neighbourhood Crime Team, said: “I would like to urge members of the public to remain vigilant regarding suspicious activity and report it to the police as soon as possible.
"We would like to reassure the community that thefts from vehicles are a priority for neighbourhood teams not only in the city centre but teams across the force.
"Reports of vehicle crime should be made to us as soon as possible to increase the chances of suspects being traced and items recovered and returned to victims."
