Man arrested after early morning stabbing in Manchester city centre
A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of serious assault after a man was stabbed in Manchester city centre on Sunday morning.
Police responding to reports of a stabbing on Withy Grove, near The Arndale and Printworks, at around 6.45am.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital - but has now been discharged.

Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: "A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
"The investigation continues and the victim is now out of hospital.
