Mamelodi Sundowns face Petro de Luanda, Orlando Pirates draw Simba SC as African adventure continues
The draw for both the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup took place on Tuesday, with Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates finding out who they would face in the quarter-finals of the respective competitions.
After topping their group with a record 16 points, Sundowns have drawn Petro de Luanda (Angola) in the quarter-finals with the first leg taking place in Luanda.
It's expected that the matches will take place on 15/16 April, with the second leg following on 22/23 April.
Pirates also topped their group in the CAF Confederation Cup and now will face Simba SC (Tanzania) in the knock-out stages.
Pirates, who secured 13 points in Group B with four wins in their six matches, will travel to Tanzania for the first leg clash on 17 April.
The second leg will be played in South Africa on 24 April.
Should they progress, they will face the winner of Al Ittihad and Al Ahly Tripoli (both of Libya).
