‘Making it worse’ - Jamie Carragher and other pundits cast verdict on Man City FFP charges

A number of pundits have had their say on the 115 allegations of financial wrongdoing levelled at Manchester City by the Premier League amid the new charges brought before Everton and Nottingham Forest.

The case before City is vastly different to the alleged net loss limit breaches by Forest and Everton, The latter have already had 10 points deducted for breaking Premier League money rules this season. City are alleged to have facilitated illicit financing and been uncooperative, claims the club denies in full.

This week, Premier League chief Richard Masters said a date has been set for the independent commission hearing to start but refused to disclose it. The case is considered complex so may take a while to complete, especially if appeals are lodged after a verdict.
