Major Cardiff city centre road closed following serious collision - live updates

Police are currently at the scene of a serious collision in Cardiff. South Wales Police has said they are the scene of the incident on the Boulevard De Nantes in the Cathays are of the city this morning.

The road is currently closed in both directions between Boulevard De Nantes and Stuttgarter Strasse. The police force has warned that the road is expected to remain closed for some time.

Traffic maps show that there is slow traffic in the area. Motorists have been advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes for their journey.
