Maidstone United manager George Elokobi on his side's 2-0 National League South win over Bath City
George Elokobi had different reasons to praise Maidstone’s goalscorers in their win over Bath.
Antony Papadopoulos put United in front with a second-half penalty, as the visitors had goalkeeper Charlie Binns sent off, and Riley Court’s first league goal clinched a 2-0 victory in added time.
John Gilbert, Sam Corne, Deon Moore and Ruben Carvalho have all missed from the spot this season, with penalties proving problematic for the Stones.

“He stepped up and tucked it away and that gave us a chance to go on and get that second goal.”
Court ran on to a Papadopoulos pass in the fifth minute of injury time and finished confidently to keep Maidstone eighth in National League South, two points outside the play-offs.
He scored in a Kent Senior Cup tie at Welling last season but this was the 19-year-old’s first league goal for his hometown club.
