Maguire six strokes off lead in Cincinnati
Leona Maguire carded a second round 67 to sit six shots off the lead at the halfway point in the Queen City Championship in Cincinnati.
Maguire, who endured a topsy-turvy opening round marred by a double-bogey on the par-5 12th, made far more steady, serene progress on Friday, posting a blemish free card and rolling in five birdies, on 8, 10, 12, 14 and 15.
The Cavan golfer, who won her first LPGA event at the Drive On Championship in February, is in a tie for 12th on -7.
Antrim's Stephanie Meadow, meanwhile, carded a second successive 71 to reach -2, making the cut by two strokes.

Korea's Jeongeun Lee6 heads the field after a stunning round of 63 on Friday, registering nine birdies overall to wind up on -13 heading into the weekend.
The 2019 US Open champion leads by a single stroke from Thursday's leader, China's Xiyu Lin, who followed up her opening 64 with a round of 68. America's Ally Ewing is a stroke further back on -11.
