M60 LIVE as emergency services called to vehicle fire - updates
Emergency services have been called to the M60 this evening following reports of a vehicle fire.
Three lanes are closed on the anti-clockwise carriageway from J19 for Heaton Park and J18 for Simister Island.
Highways officers are at the scene along with fire crews this evening. Further details about the nature of the incident have not yet been confirmed.

The latest blaze comes just hours after a lorry erupted into flames on the M62 near Rishworth Moor, causing severe delays throughout the evening.

The motorway is very quiet this evening - with one lane remaining open for traffic passing the scene.
There are no delays on the M60 as emergency crews continue to deal with the incident.
The vehicle fire comes just hours after a HGV erupted into flames on the M62.
Part of the eastbound carriageway remains closed after the lorry caught fire earlier this afternoon, also causing a large spillage on the road surface which is currently being cleaned.
