Luke Littler total prize money as teen darts sensation sitting on eye-watering fortune after Premier League win

The great Phil Taylor will be starting to get a little nervous now as the Luke Littler explosion is only intensifying.

Many wondered whether the then-16-year-old, who announced himself in some style at the World Darts Championship, was going to be a flash in the pan. But nearly six months on from his brush with destiny against Luke Humphries, it's obvious he's going nowhere but up. 'The Nuke' was invited to the Premier League, and on Thursday night he got the ultimate revenge over his good mate and Worlds nemesis - by downing the world No.1 in the final.

In truth it was never in doubt as Littler won 11-7 - with the flourish of a stunning nine-darter along the way - to win his first televised major tournament. The final win banked him £275,000 in prize money, and having already taken home £10,000 for each of his four nightly wins during the tournament, he's walking away with a cool £315,000 for his efforts. Not bad at 17!

It's the crowning achievement of a stunning year for the teenager who already banked £200,000 for finishing as runner-up to Humphries at the World Championship. Having also won the Bahrain Masters and Belgian Open, as well as finishing second to Michael van Gerwen in the Dutch Masters, his overall prize money for the year sits at more than £500,000 for less than six months of work. Not bad if you can get it.
