Lucas Paqueta could be about to resurrect his chance of a Man City transfer

Pep Guardiola is back after his weeks off recovering from back surgery. His Manchester City team did very well in his absence but there is nothing like having the captain of the ship at the helm.

The Blues travel down to West Ham on Saturday, a team City have had great success against recently. Guardiola has never lost a league match against the Hammers and has only dropped points to them on two occasions, but that doesn't mean they will be easy. David Moyes' side have made a great start to the campaign and Guardiola won't be letting his side forget it in preparation for the match.

Guardiola's return means he will get to clasp eyes on new signing Matheus Nunes for the first time in City colours. The midfielder impressed the manager immensely in his performances against City for Sporting and Wolves and Guardiola praised him ahead of the game.

"He can play in the holding midfielder, attacking midfielder, fullback with his physicality," he said. "He has to improve the first contact, first touch. Try with the ball like Kevin, Kevin is incomparable. His energy, the balls in the last games as winger.
