Loved up Ricky Hatton and Claire Sweeney are all smiles as they join thousands at festival

Boxer Ricky Hatton and his partner and Corrie star Claire Sweeney were all smiles as they joined the crowds at Lytham Festival this weekend.

The couple were pictured with broad smiles in matching denim as they cosied up while watching England’s quarter final Euro victory at the festival.

Despite knowing each other for years, it wasn't until earlier this year that the pair first got tongues wagging about a relationship after being spotted on a series of pub dates.

They then stepped out on the red carpet together for the first time in May at the first opening night of the £365m Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. They both posted photos on their Instagram accounts after posing together at the press boards for celebs and VIPs at the new arena's welcome event.

Boxer Ricky, 45, and Coronation Street star Claire, 53, were then seen enjoying a sun-soaked holiday in Tenerife and recently headed back abroad and enjoyed a long weekend in Mallorca with his family.

Ricky has since confirmed that he and Claire have been dating for five months after appearing on Dancing on Ice 2024 together earlier this year.

Speaking about taking part on Dancing on Ice, and it leading to him meeting Claire, who is currently playing Cassie Plummer in ITV's Corrie, Ricky said: "I had a good laugh on the ice. I mean, after the first day, I was scared to death but I always love a challenge."

He joked to the Mirror: "I got knocked out in the first round, but I was able to able to meet Claire. I was always a Billy no mates at these things before Claire." He then said of their relationship: "No, it’s great! Me and Claire have been together about five months now," before
