Lost possession 22x, dribbled past on 5 occasions - West Brom trio's nightmare vs Luton

Sam Johnstone, Jayson Molumby and Kyle Bartley struggled in West Brom’s hugely disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Luton Town.

The Baggies’ Championship promotion charge has tailed off worryingly in recent months and they were badly in need of a positive result on Saturday afternoon.

Johnstone has been a heroic figure between the sticks for West Brom but this was not his best day at the office.

Cameron Jerome’s opener got past the Englishman and he only completed 52% of his attempted accurate passes – a tally of 16 out of 31.

Molumby lost possession 14 times and was dribbled past on four different occasions for good measure, too.

Bartley completed the top-three of worst West Brom players, with the centre-back playing his part in the defeat.

The veteran was dribbled past once, gave the ball away on eight occasions and also only completed half of his long balls – four out of eight – in what seemed to be a recurring theme within the team.

Bartley also received just a three-out-of-10 rating from The Birmingham Mail‘s Joseph Chapman,
