Los Angeles Lakers get LeBron James, Anthony Davis back for game against New Orleans Pelicans
LeBron James is back in the lineup for the Los Angeles Lakers after after testing his sprained left ankle before their game against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Lakers announced.
James, who missed his second straight game Thursday against the Utah Jazz, returned to Los Angeles earlier this week to continue his injury rehabilitation.
The Lakers also will be welcoming back star forward Anthony Davis, who has not played since Feb. 16 because of a right midfoot sprain.
The returns of James, the NBA's leading scorer, and Davis will be a major lift to a struggling Los Angeles team competing for the final postseason spot in the Western Conference.
