Long queues building on stretch of M66 after crash
Queues are building on a stretch of the M66 this morning after a crash.
One lane has been shut off on both sides of the motorway between junction two for Bury and junction one for Ramsbottom. A vehicle has hit the central reservation, motorway police said.
Congestion is building in both directions. North West Motorway Police said on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Police and National Highways are currently dealing with a collision on M66 Northbound between J2 and 1.
